BUM representatives, together with partners from neighboring countries, attended Design Biotop event in Ljubljana on Thursday, 21st November 2013. At Kino Šiška, during this one-day experiential event for cultural workers, designers, start-ups, businessmen, creators, politicians, as well as CSO`s, we had an opportunity to discuss potential cooperation in the future, as well as how to join and spread this initiative regionally.
Design Biotop is an experiential workshop and discussion event that explores the problem solving and transdisciplinary nature of design and promotes a design thinking mindset to a country that is searching for design opportunity perspectives and its impact on economic growth. Its aim is to underline the connections between the design mindset, creative processes, education and decision making.
