Balkan Urban Movement is organizing international training for young activists engaged in youth work and art coming from Council of Europe member states.

Pictures are important for understanding the spirit of this time. This is the reason for us to accept the need for switching the methods of youth work to instant one and more visual. Our intention is to engage both young artists and youth workers to deliver education for human rights through visual media.

Training will be held in Vrsac, Serbia from 19th – 25th of February 2017. After the training participants will work on engaging art for sending important messages about tolerance, cooperation and peace to their peers. They will prepare the “digital exhibition” to share with a wider audience on social networks their ideas for overcoming discrimination. Besides this online campaign, the result of the project will also be the manual for visualization of human rights education. Deadline for applications is 30th of January.

This project is supported by European Youth Foundation of Council of Europe.
