Balkan Urban Movement organized an international training for young activists engaged in international and national level. In order to point out why it is necessary to connect young activists and cooperate for gender equality, this training, named Activism is a She, was based on various topics civil society is mobilized around.
Gender equality means an equal visibility, empowerment and participation of both women and men in all spheres of public and private life. It aims to promote the full participation of women and men in society.
Training was held in Vrsac, Serbia, from 23rd – 28th of February 2016, and we spent great and productive time with our participants.
