BITE of Art project which represents a joint vision of cultural and artistic institutions and organizations coming from Spain, Slovenia and Serbia to bring innovative practices into work of cultural operators, shaping a path of mainstreaming contemporary art among young citizens, has officially STARTED.
Representatives of Balkan Urban Movement as a lead organization on the project participated at the Kick-off meeting in Brussels from 21st to 23rd of October. The meeting was organized by the Creative Europe for all lead applicants granted in 2019. There we had opportunity to exchange about best practices with cultural and artistic institutions from all over Europe, discuss on going trends and developments in various artistic expressions and address most important challenges Europe is facing and what is the role of culture and art in it. As a part of the networking activities, BITE of Art project was presented to many attendees, with whom we also talked on future cooperation in the field.
The BITE of Art project is supported by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union, ranked as the top 1 in Europe out of 285 applications in 2019.
