Connect International in collaboration with the Generation Why Not held in October a piloting workshop, as part of the Communicate, Engage, Transform (CET) project, aimed at empowering participants with essential skills to drive meaningful change in their communities. The workshop guided participants through the key elements when discussing external communication of the youth organisations.

Participants first explored a range of communication techniques and tools, learning to craft clear, compelling messages to diverse audiences. In the session they brainstormed about communication strategies to foster community involvement and commitment, drawing on case studies and real-life examples to enhance their approach. Finally, the session provided a roadmap for translating community initiatives into sustainable, impactful projects.

The workshop concluded with a feedback session, allowing participants to share insights and commit to applying their new skills in future initiatives. As part of CET’s ongoing efforts.

The piloting workshop was prepared based on the CET module that has been produced to support youth organisations when it comes to external communication. You can find the module and other useful resources on the CET website.
