Training within the project Graffiti Art Takes the Street was held in Portugal from 4th until 14th of July. Artists from partner countries gathered to exchange their experiences in preparing their pieces for raising awareness about climate change and other ecological topics. Five artists from Serbia representing Balkan Urban Movement were part of this event.

At the start of the training participants were involved in team-building activities since later they were cooperating on the joint art pieces. Artists were exchanging experiences with their peers and learned about some new techniques as well. Important topic at the training was the relationship between the artist and the community.

Wall that was painted by all participants is located in the center of Paradesh and the reaction from its citizens was excellent. They were really happy to have something like that in their community.

The project Graffiti Art Takes the Street is supported by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
